Rental terms
The rules for rentals booked online: payment, cancellation, refunds, ID, deposit, damage, pickup and return.

Booking and payment
You book online by choosing the bike, size, dates and any extras. The availability shown is the shop's real availability: the bike is reserved in your name only once the payment has gone through.
The full amount is paid online when you book, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, through Stripe. After payment you receive an email with your booking code.
Online rentals are by whole days: each day runs from 9.00 to 18.00 and the chosen dates are included.
Half-day rentals (9.00–13.00 or 13.00–18.00) are available at the shop only, cannot be booked in advance and are not available for e-bikes.
Evening-before pick-up: for a €10 surcharge per booking you can collect the bike the day before the start date, after 18.00.
Included with every rental bike: bike fitting, spare inner tube, repair kit and pedals. For e-bikes the charger is available on request at no cost: tick it in the booking.
Cancellation
You can cancel by writing to store@gardabikeshop.com or calling +39 0464 567011, quoting your booking code.

The rental is a leisure service for specific dates, so the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases does not apply (Art. 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code, implementing Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU). The cancellation rules on this page apply.
Refunds
Refunds due are made to the payment method used for the booking. TODO_NEGOZIO: within how many days the shop issues the refund
If you return the bike before the end of the rental, unused days are not refunded.
ID document
To pick up the bike you need a valid ID document and a credit card of the person who made the booking.

Deposit
TODO_NEGOZIO: whether a deposit is required: amount per bike type, how it is paid and when it is returned; or state that none is required
Damage, theft and insurance
From pickup to return the bike is in your care: use it carefully, always lock it when you leave it and tell the shop straight away in case of a fault, accident or theft.

Rental bikes are not insured. You can add the Bike insurance extra (€20 per day per bike): it covers damage and theft of the bike up to €500 per bike.

Pickup and return
You pick up the bike at the shop, Viale Rovereto 1A in Riva del Garda, from 9.00 on the first day, and return it to the same place by 18.00 on the last day.

Choose bike, size and dates: you see real availability and the price straight away, then confirm by paying with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
